In autumn 2005, Wim Wenders travelled to Japan, following the tracks of the great Japanese director Yasujiro Ozu. Wenders visited Onomichi, a small costal town in the south of Japan.

It is here where the story of Ozu’s key film »Tokyo monogatari« begins and also ends. A group of large-size photographs documents Wenders’ experiences while he discovered Onomichi.
