Wim Wenders premieres Anselm in Cannes

Wim Wenders, the German filmmaker premiered his new documentary Anselm, about the life and work of Anselm Kiefer in this year’s Cannes official selection.

Captured in 3D, Wenders uses the technique to convey the richly textural surfaces for which the painter and sculptor is best known. Wenders spent two years on a documentary that serves as a uniquely captivating and moving retrospective of Kiefer’s life and body of work.
