On the occasion of Ruskin’s 200th birthday, the exhibition »Ruskin, Turner & the Storm Cloud – Watercolours and Drawings« considers the eloquent critical relationship John Ruskin had (1819-1900) with the landscapes of J M W Turner (1775-1851). New cyanotypes by Emma Stibbon, which draw inspiration from locations used by Ruskin and Turner in Chamonix, create a contemporary dialogue.

The exhibition will subsequently be shown at the Abbot Hall Art Gallery, Kendal, from 11 July through 5 October 2019.
